What is your role at Yardi? | Solution Consultant – London Office. A large part of my role entails demonstrating how the different products work and how they can help either existing clients or new prospects add value to their business’. I will be starting with the Elevate Suite, specifically Lease Manager and Investment Manager and then building on my knowledge from there. |
Why did you choose to take a career at Yardi? | Yardi has a reputation for having a wonderful culture and a very friendly, hardworking environment. There are also some incredible products which I get to work with, offices and colleagues around the world and the role itself is very interesting and diverse. |
What did you do for work prior to working at Yardi? | I have always worked in the property industry and I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016. Since then, I have worked in Fund Management at La Salle Investment Management, and as an Asset Manager at The Cadogan Estate and Weybourne. I am really excited to be able to (hopefully) bring over some of my knowledge to help with showing clients how Yardi products can make their lives easier. |
How do you like to spend your free time? | In the last year I have been going on a lot of walks! But in general I love anything outdoors. I am from Jersey originally so anything to do with a beach and I am happy. We were lucky with the weather last summer so I was able to rediscover my childhood love of surfing. |
Favourite thing about working for Yardi? | The company’s continuation to introduce innovative products and services. |
What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done? | I think all my scariest moments come about from fun adventures going slightly awry, they are certainly not planned! They tend to happen when skiing off piste or doing something out at sea. I am getting wiser as I get older though and they are becoming far less frequent! |
Have you learnt a new skill or talent during lockdown? | I must confess I missed the sourdough/banana bread making craze in the first Lockdown but in general I have enjoyed a lot more time cooking and experimenting with new recipes. Still on the hunt to discover a new talent; I tried candle making, coding, 5D painting. The search continues… |
